Pass CSE

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Effective: October 15, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Godfrey Zubiaga, an individual developer in the Philippines ("we", "us"), for using the Pass CSE app and this website. By using Pass CSE you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Pass CSE is

Pass CSE is a practice reviewer for the Philippine Civil Service Exam, Professional and Subprofessional levels. It offers practice questions with explanations, timed sets, mock exams and a readiness score.

Pass CSE is an independent reviewer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Civil Service Commission. For official exam schedules, requirements and results, always check the Civil Service Commission directly.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pass CSE. If you're a minor under Philippine law, you need a parent's or guardian's consent to use the app and to make a purchase.

Your account

The free sampler works without an account. To unlock the full reviewer, you sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or a link sent to your email. Keep access to that sign-in method secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at godfreyzubiaga@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it.

You can delete your account at any time (see Support). How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The one-time unlock

Refunds

Because purchases are processed by Apple or Google, refunds are handled by them under their own refund policies. You can request one through the App Store (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (your order history). If a refund is granted, the unlock is removed from your account. If you were charged twice by mistake, email us and we'll help you sort it out.

About the content

Acceptable use

Please use Pass CSE for your own review. You agree not to:

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Where the breach involves getting around payment, this can be without a refund.

Ownership

The app, its questions, explanations, design and Pip the red panda belong to us. Buying the unlock gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app and its content for your own review. It doesn't transfer ownership of anything.

Availability

Most of the app works offline. Sign-in, syncing, purchases and question updates need an internet connection and our server. We aim to keep these running, but we can't promise the service will always be available or free of errors. We may take it down briefly for maintenance.

Limitation of liability

Pass CSE is provided "as is". To the extent Philippine law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a failed exam, a missed job opportunity, or lost study data. Our total liability to you for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for the unlock. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. For significant changes we'll also tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Pass CSE after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before going to court, please email us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly that way.
